TraceSpan Announces VDSL Xpert™ Multi-Layer Analyzer
Industry’s first and only non-intrusive performance-analysis solution
for VDSL2 interoperability testing
Las Vegas, NV - March 20, 2006 – TraceSpan™ Communications, a
provider of broadband monitoring solutions, today announces the new VDSL
Xpert™ multi-layer analyzer. Leveraging patent-pending technology, VDSL
Xpert™ breaks new ground as the industry’s only non-intrusive
performance-analysis solution for VDSL2 products. VDSL Xpert™
accelerates time to market and return on investment by cutting
significant time from the development, deployment, debugging and
interoperability verification of VDSL equipment. TraceSpan will
demonstrate the VDSL Xpert™ for the first time at TelecomNext Booth
#2037, Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 20-22,
2006.
VDSL Xpert™ is an easy-to-use modular system designed for R&D and
laboratory engineers engaged in the deployment of VDSL2
standard-compliant solutions. The innovative VDSL Xpert™ analyzer
verifies the interoperability of VDSL2 products offered by different
vendors, and compares the performance of any combination of CO (Central
Office) and CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) modems. VDSL Xpert™ is a
powerful solution for service providers (Telcos and CLECs), current and
next-generation VDSL equipment manufacturers, and technology and chipset
developers.
“We are proud to announce the launch of VDSL Xpert™ – our
vendor-independent solution for VDSL interoperability testing,” said Dr.
Hanan Herzberg, TraceSpan founder and CEO. “I am certain that the VDSL
Xpert™ will follow the success and overwhelming acceptance of our ADSL
analyzer, which received the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Product Innovation
Award and is used currently worldwide by major carriers, modem and DSLAM
makers and chip vendors. The VDSL Xpert is a PC-controlled hardware
solution with a user-friendly GUI that presents multi-layer information
in convenient displays. Using VDSL Xpert™, lab personnel can quickly and
easily verify performance and compliance to standards of VDSL2 products,
leading to rapid system deployment and quick return on investment.”
VDSL Xpert™ simultaneously presents downstream and upstream data and
gives a complete and accurate analysis of VDSL product performance and
interoperability without affecting data transfer between transceivers.
With its unique multi-layer probing capability, VDSL Xpert™ focuses on
the physical layer and provides comprehensive analysis of data without
using on any VDSL2 chipset or being biased by any VDSL2 chip vendor.
