Question:  How do I edit the severity of the different events?

Answer:
You can edit the severity of each and every event in the system, by using the Event Suppressions (click the 'Suppressions' button on the main toolbar).  For every Event you can select a severity level, or, you can select the Event to be Unreported.  The new definitions can be saved in a file for re-use.  The suppressions file can also be loaded automatically each time the application is started (this is done from the Preferences dialog box).
