Problems
-
When starting
capture, I cannot set the capture time to be
higher than a certain value. What should I do?
-
Analysis takes a
very long time after using "Capture Anyway".
There is no problem with the PC, and its specs
are higher than the minimum requirements. Why
does this happen?
-
We have the unit
connected to a new PC in one location (running
Windows XP, plenty of memory, disk space,
processor power, etc.). We can use the PC,
connect to the box and use it fine. But when we
try to remotely use the software (using Windows
XP Remote Desktop Connection), we get an error
box popping up which says "Incompatible
Requirements, Not enough colors (min 24 bits per
pixel required)". The monitor is set for 32 bits
per pixel.
-
I am trying to use
the raw capture data file for a software
simulation of our modem. How do I extract the
raw data?
-
I'm trying to
install DSL Xpert™. The OS is Win2K, and it has
recent Microsoft updates and patches up to
roughly a week ago. I am getting several error
messages and the install process always stops.
-
In some of the
screens, Channel Analysis for example, I see
characters overlapping one on top of the other.
How can I fix it?
-
With my DSLAM, we
seem to go through more than one G.HS attempt,
some of them fail in G.HS stage, some fail at
what our CPE unit thinks is MEDELY, but it looks
like by the time we get to the Channel Analysis
stage the DSLAM is transmitting the G.HS
C-Tones. The DSL Xpert™ seems to pick up the
session from the moment of the first successful
G.HS + ADSL exchange. Is there a way to pick up
the unsuccessful attempts before the successful
ones or to do a manual start and stop?
