Question: Does DSL Xpert™ use a PLL to lock to the capture points or does it over-sample and without locking?

Answer:

DSL Xpert™ over-samples and doesn't lock. The sampling rate of the *.crd file (downstream signal) is 4416kHz and of the *.rrd file (upstream signal) is 1104kHz.
