Lawful Interception (LI) Solution for Optical Fiber Lines Using GPON Technology

TraceSpan's GPON Phantom™ is a passive monitoring solution that records and stores broadband digital information on fiber lines using GPON technology and deployed in an FTTx topology (Fiber to the Neighborhood, Curb, Premises or Home). It is intended for Law Enforcement Authorities (LEA) looking to capture the data between the service provider's premises and the target.

The GPON Phantom™ intercepts target communication directly from the line and collects a hundred percent of the information in both directions, to and from the ISP or communications provider. The GPON Phantom™ system is portable, and can be used as a stand-alone unit, as a cost-effective centralized monitoring system or as a complimentary solution to an existing centralized system.

The GPON Phantom™ system can be installed at virtually any location (central office, communication room, basement or street), while the data can be monitored either locally or at a remote location.

The GPON Phantom™ allows law enforcement agencies to monitor information without detection, while generating files which are clear evidence of the tapped information.
