TraceSpan Announces Portable GPON Xpert™ Analyzer

Ra’anana, Israel, May 31, 2011 – TraceSpan Communications, a leader in broadband analysis and monitoring solutions, announces today a new portable version of its GPON Xpert™ analyzer.
GPON Xpert™ is a passive multi-layer protocol analyzer for GPON networks, designed for engineers engaged in the development, testing and deployment of GPON solutions. GPON Xpert™ cuts significant time from GPON development, deployment, debugging, and interoperability testing, thus accelerating time-to-market and return-on-investment.
The new portable version expands the GPON Xpert™ product line and makes it available for telecom operators' tier-3 customer support and OLT/ONU manufacturers' support groups and field engineers. This version provides GPON Xpert™'s full set of capture and analysis capabilities with similar performance. It is designed for transportability and has reduced dimensions and weight.

This makes it the ultimate passive GPON testing solution for the lab and field environments alike.
